As our society increasingly grapples with many ills associated with chronically excessive work time in a high-stress sedentary environment - e.g. salaried exempt overloaded desk-bound employees in the New Economy - it's time to illuminate the full scope of "hidden costs of outsourcing", as a part of the many "hidden costs" of chronically overloading and overstressing salaried employees at "re-engineered" (downsized) companies. Issues such as increasing chronic health problems with associated spiraling healthcare costs, increasing degradation of the family unit with as-yet unknown societal impact, and others, are directly attributable to this new trend in "productivity improvement".
man...i don't have much to worry about currently, as far as outsourcing goes. but i like "chronically excessive work time in a high-stress sedentary environment - e.g. salaried exempt overloaded desk-bound employees in the New Economy". it's very apt.
