I went to Disney World yesterday. It's cool thing 2 of 5 about… - don't let the bastards grind you down.
I went to Disney World yesterday. It's cool thing 2 of 5 about living in Florida...easy access to all kinds of resorts and tourism shit.

Anyway, I took 82 pictures. Take a look here.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Love the pictures :)

I especially love the one with you and your little girl sipping on the soda infront of the castle :)

it's funny to see how large that cup is compared to her little body.

heh. i don't know.

it's just.. i imagine everyone goes through the weirdness of everyone becoming adults. for people like us (ok, me... i know phil has a similar feeling) it's even weirder, in that, in many ways, we feel strangely about it.

to quote fight club "i'm a 30 year old boy." i'm not 30 yet, but i can't forsee any real change. of course, change is unforseeable.

hmm...this is actually related to somethign i've been thinking lately.

i'm a wholly different person than when i was younger...but to me, that's almost a prerequisite of growing up. i mean, if you can't be a little embarrassed by when you were a kid (ashamed, even), which is a time when you were, by definition, immature, then you haven't put enough distance between that time period and now, and haven't done much growing up.

that's just me...not to knock being a kid for as long as you can. i just like being an adult.

well, i don't think that's what i meant to suggest.
i am very definitely not the same person i was when i was younger. i've changed in very significant ways. that's adolescence, right?

however i feel like there's a disconnect between me and the idea of being an "adult" that i always thought was somehow meaningful. probably that's because i had wrong ideas about what it meant. i guess what i'm saying is that adults seemed so differnet than kids, but to me, i have never lost sight of how i felt when i was young and lots of my ideas and perceptions are similar or the same to when i was young.

perhaps what i feel is that there is no real difference, just a constant evolution and state of mind, between myself as, say, a 16 year old and now. of course my behaviors and maturity are highly different, but it's been a gradual evolution and i can still feel acutely the way i used to be. there is no border, no hard line or demarcation, where i feel that i've stopped being adolescent and become an "adult."

we'll see what happens.

I HATE Disney World, but Evie makes Disney World look fun.
